It is winter which means I am perpetually cold. Which makes me long for comfort foods and yummy warm drinks. So I make hot chocolate waaaaaay too often. And I'm not at all upset about it.

Even my three-year-old asks me almost every day for warm hot chocolate. I've created a monster who is basically me...but in toddler form. Hahaha

I don't know if I am proud or worried that her love of chocolate is as strong as mine is.

Classic hot chocolate is so yummy. But this simple 2 ingredient recipe for Orange Hot Chocolate is absolutely divine! Orange hot chocolate is simply hot chocolate made with orange-flavored chocolate.

What ingredients do you need to make flavored hot cocoa?

You only need two ingredients to make flavored hot chocolate. Yes, you read that right, only 2. You only need Lindt Orange Truffles and hot milk. That's it!

This is so simple to make, so delicious, totally creamy and amazing, orange hot chocolate! Yum, yum, yum!

Yes, there are other ways you can make flavored hot cocoa. You can add syrup to your hot cocoa like they do at most coffee shops. Or you can buy flavored hot cocoas. But honestly, this is so super yummy and simple to make. This method also doesn't commit you to making large batches if you don't want to.

Is it difficult to make orange hot chocolate?

It is super simple to make this orange hot cocoa. This is so simple it feels likecheating to even call this a recipe. Because it literally takes two ingredients.

You can make this in a cinch. Your kids can make it (with proper supervision of course).

What is Lindt Hot Chocolate?

Lindt hot chocolate is something I made up, but it is absolutely delicious. Simply add Lindt truffles into hot milk and stir for the most delicious Lindt Hot Chocolate ever!

It is rich and creamy just like Lindt truffles and oh-so-delicious! Seriously, you are going to love this!

(And no I am not claiming that I created this concept first, but I hadn't seen this before at the time I thought of it and created it in January 2017.)

Orange Hot Chocolate Recipe

Ingredients:

• 8 oz Milk
• 2-3 Orange Lindt Truffles(affiliate link included for your convenience)
• Whipped Cream (optional but recommended)

Directions:

1. Warm milk using your preferred method. I usually put mine in the microwave for 1.5 minutes (time will vary depending on microwave). But the stovetop works too, especially if you are heating up milk for more than one cup of hot cocoa.
2. Once the milk is heated thoroughly, add 2-3 orange Lindt truffles (or flavor of your choice) into the milk and stir until melted and well-mixed.
3. Add whipped cream on top if you like.
