Homemade Chocolate Milk Powder
I love nesquik chocolate milk powder, i have bought it twice and enjoyed every bit of it.. But it is pretty expensive here but i can never stop buying them..Recently i decided to try chocolate milk powder at home and when i searched for it, i was surprised to see how easy it is to make at home.
I made this just now and enjoyed a cup of cold chocolate milk. I am telling you, it is way much better than store bought. Plus you know what is going in your milk. And it is healthy drink for your kids who loves chocolate milk. Great as an after school drink.

The only thing you have to remember is, try to get the best quality cocoa powder you can afford. I have tried this with many brands of cocoa powder and loved the powder made with hersheys. I think it is the best. The milk can be made either with hot or cold milk as you prefer, but i like to enjoy it with cold milk.
Ingredients for Homemade Chocolate Milk Powder
For making powder:
- Cocoa Powder - ¼ cup (i used hersheys, use best quality)
- Sugar - ¼ cup
- Salt -¼ tsp
For making milk:
- Milk (hot or cold as you prefer)
- Hot Water - as needed
Hope you will give this a try and let me know how it turns out for you..

Nesquik is fortified with vitamins and minerals. Homemade is only cocoa and sugar. You tell me which is better?

I am an anonymous reader , and felt like replying to your question .i would still Aarthi's version is better . You know what is inside it . Nesquik, or any drink store bought , we never know what is added . Though it have fortified minerals or vitamins , it might do more harm than good ., I am sure they would have added some ingredients to enhance the taste , color and any preservative .so obviously , this is better .
