I found this delicious roll recipe at Our Best Bites and they were really good. I’m still working on perfecting a good homemade roll.
I found a few recipes for honey butter online but took parts from each of them and came up with this beauty, and let me tell you, it’s beautiful.
If you are looking for a simple and quick bread recipe, this is definitely a recipe you need to try. The best part is the cinnamon honey butter that goes on the rolls.
My mouth is salivating just at the thought of the sweet cinnamon butter, melting over each roll. From one carb lover to another, you need to try this one.
Does the butter need to be softened to make the cinnamon honey butter?
For this recipe, our butter was at room temperature. It wasn’t melted at all (you do not want to melt your butter, it will totally mess with the texture and make it flaky rather than creamy, later on.)
Before making the Cinnamon Honey Butter, I will usually let my butter sit out on my counter for about an hour or two to soften.
You do not want to microwave your butter, because it will melt areas of it, and the texture will be totally off.
How long with this butter be good for in the fridge?
We recommend keeping your butter in the fridge. It will keep a little better and last longer.
It will be good for a few weeks. I would say two to three weeks. We keep ours in an air tight container.

Ingredients
- 1 pound butter
- ¼ cup honey
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
Cut the butter into chunks and place in bowl.
Beat butter at a low speed using the whisk attachment. Increase speed to medium and add the honey, cinnamon and vanilla and beat until well combined.
Add powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
