Fantasy Football WR Rankings, Who Should I Add Off Waiver Wires:
Jaxon Smith-Njigba (Seahawks), was the highest recommended WR waiver wire pickup this week.
Analysis
Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s five targets (13.5%) for 4-48 receiving were admittedly unimpressive on the surface.
Peek under the hood and you’ll find Seattle passed from 3-WR sets on 77% (12th) of their plays coming out of the bye compared to 66% (25th) through Week 4, allowing JSN to run a route on a season-high 78% of dropbacks.
It did not provide the results we wanted immediately, but it’s a trend we need to be ahead of assuming it’s how the team schemes their offense moving forward.
Given the limited number of games Zach Evans, Craig Reynolds, and the 49ers’ backups are expected to be serviceable, I’d pass on them altogether for Smith-Njigba if prioritizing a player to use beyond Week 9 (or if you simply need a receiver instead).
If you’re also struggling to sort through which long-term stash to prioritize on your bench, I rank them JSN > Jameson Williams > Marvin Mims > Quentin Johnston ROS.

Who are the best stashes from the Fantasy Football WR Rankings?
Rashid Shaheed (Saints) is one of the best wide receiver stashes ahead of Week 7.
Analysis
After an explosive start to 2023 as the WR23 in half-PPR scoring through the first two contests, Rashid Shaheed then disappeared until Week 6, where he posted 103 combined yards and a touchdown.
As the Saints’ deep-play guy, the consistency may not be there, but with plenty of players on byes in the coming weeks, Shaheed could be a lottery ticket for those in need.
