Ronald Victor Bade 67, Greenwood, passed away September 20, 2003 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born on December 23, 1935 in Indianapolis. He succumbed to death after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was self-employed and owned Bade Ceramic Tile for over 40 years.

His mother, Getrude Bade and his father, Victor Bade, preceded him in death. Survivors include his two sons, Douglas Bade of Indianapolis and Darrell Bade of Greenwood; sister Gwendolyn Smith, and brother Kenneth Bade, both of Indianapolis; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Bade, Patrick Bade, Ashlea Bade and Emilea Bade. Henry Evans Bradley 86, Indianapolis, died September 21, 2003. Mr. Bradley retired in 1980 after 30 years at the Naval Avionic Center as a Purchasing Agent. He was a 50 year member of Prospect Lodge 714, AM and attended Faith United Methodist Church. He had served as Unit Commissioner with the Pioneer District of the Boy Scouts of America.

Little Tucker, they preceded her in death. Mrs. Hansen received her bachelor's degree from Butler University in Education and her master's degree in Education from Indiana University.

On July 26, 1972 she married Arthur Hansen, who was then the President of Purdue University. She served as first lady of Purdue for 11 years. She was widely known for being involved in all aspects of Purdue's life, but in particular, building a rapport with the students. In 1947, Nancy was enrolled as a student at Purdue and came to know a graduate teaching assistant named Arthur Hansen, who was a friend of her sister, Carolyn. They became friends and 25 years later, they met again while Nancy was a teacher for the Department of Their friendship was renewed, Defense a in the Philippine Islands.

and they were married shortly after. Nancy Hansen was a born teacher and taught high school for many years. A gifted 1 writer and speaker, she had the unusual capacity for relating to others, which reflected in what she wrote and spoke. By deed and action, she opened her heart to many who came to know her. She enjoyed people and with her friends, she demonstrated affection, quick wit and a delightful sense of humor.

It is for these qualities, that all who knew her will remember. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Arthur Hansen; sister Carolyn and brother-in-law Warren; step-children Ruth Rachel and husband Michael, Christine Glancy and husband Tim, Geoffery Hansen and grandson John, James Hansen, Paul Hansen and wife Dee Ann and grandchildren Richard, Steven and James. After the service, he lived in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for 35 years, where he graduated from the University of Toronto. He had a beautiful counter-tenor voice. His intonation was exceptional and flawless, with delightful phrasing, that was praised by audiences and symphony conductors throughout the world. Survivors include loving and devoted parents, mother, Dorothy M. Logan-Smith; step-father, George T.

Margaret Zelma Williamson Mays 77, Flatrock, IN, died Sept. 20, 2003. Arrangements: Myers Funeral Service, Reed Jewell Chapel, Columbus. Jack W. Mc Cool Was born in Dana, Indiana on January 16, 1923 and passed away on September 22, 2003.

He attended Indiana University and remained a loyal fan all his life. During World War II, he served as a Lieutenant in the 101st Airborne Division, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge and suffering a severe wound at the Alsatian Front. He was awarded the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. He worked at the U.S. Army Finance Center for 35 years and served as a volunteer board member of the Finance Center Credit Union for 35 years, including many years as President of the Board.

He was also a member of Lawrence United Methodist Church, Mystic Circle Lodge 685, Scottish Rite and Past Commander of the Fort Harrison V.F.W. Post 7119. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Olivia Sullivan Mc Cool; three children Jackie Bahler, Dan, John Mc Cool and his son-in-law Barry Bahler; six grandchildren Brandon, Brock, Bryce, Weston, Brant, Brogan. The funeral will be held at Flanner Buchanan Funeral Center Lawrence on Thursday, September 25, 2003 at 10:30 a.m., with calling on Wednesday Sept. 24, 2003 from 4 to 8 p.m.
