The Vault of Glass was the first raid ever released in Destiny. It saved a struggling game by helping it find its identity and showed the world the true potential of a raid in a first-person shooter.

Vault of Glass eventually made it to Destiny 2, along with all the great weapons that made it famous in D1.

Is Vault of Glass farmable?

You can farm Vault of Glass loot by spending Spoils of Conquest at its vendor or by farming the raid whenever it becomes the featured raid of the week.

Farming raids in Destiny 2 used to be impossible as they could only be completed once per character per week. Vault of Glass, however, can be farmed with Spoils of Conquest. Once you have defeated the final boss, you’ll see a chest called Cache of Kabr appear. There you can use your Spoils of Conquest to purchase weapons and armor.

Note you can only purchase weapons and armor you have already earned by completing encounters within the raid. This system gives you more opportunities to find good rolls on the specific gear you’re interested in. Each item costs 20 Spoils of Conquest.

On top of that, the Cache also offers Vault Caches for a chance to get something you haven’t found before. I haven’t purchased one yet, but I would think twice before spending 60 Spoils of Conquest on one, especially when purchasing a weapon or an armor piece costs only 20 Spoils of War…
